Memorial Day is celebrated annually in the United States. It is celebrated in America to commemorate all the soldiers who died while serving in the military. Monday May is celebrated on the last Monday of May every year. Memorial Day is also the beginning of the summer season.

All banks and markets in the United States, especially Wall Street, are closed today. Federal and local government agencies and schools holiday. Beaches, museums and parks are open.

Memorial Day was first celebrated in 1866 in Waterloo, New York state. Memorial Day has become common to commemorate those who died in the Civil War(North-South war) in the country. Later, it was celebrated to commemorate all members of the Army who died while serving in the military. Monday May is celebrated on the last Monday of the month of May each year. It's a Federal holiday.

On this National Day, which has been called” Decoration Day " for a long time, military parades were held all over the country. Ceremonies are held in military cemeteries and educational institutions. The most intense of these celebrations is the park called the National Mall, where Washington, the capital, is lined up around institutions that are the heart of the country.
